Welcome to HinT : Hobbygamers in Thanet.
HinT is an organisation, or perhaps a disorganisation, created to give players of Roleplaying Games, Card Games, Board Games, Miniature Games, Wargames, and pretty much any other sort of game that someone want to come along and suggest, an opportunity to get together and play. Based on (should that be in?) the Isle of Thanet, we mainly play in Margate or Ramsgate.
Some members of HinT also attend the regular board games evenings held at a pub in Ramsgate. To find out about these we recommend you pop in to Games Maison (Ramsgate Road, Margate) and chat to Nick or look up Thanet Game Group on Facebook. At the moment this is a pretty one-sided affiliation since HinT is a mere shadow of what it once was, but we still hope that the phoenix will rise again from the ashes and even things up a bit.
HinT 'Store games'...
We have started playing irregular one-off and episodic games in
Games Maison in Margate. Demonstration games are avilable for those who want to try role-playing for the first time and as soon as we establish a basis for an episodic campaign the details will be published here.
In Other News...
Fishy, one of HinT's founder members, has gone full time in the business of designing and selling games now so we hope to be spending more time in playtesting. Unfortunately this will eat into the regular campaigns unless we can arrange specific sessions for obSESSION games so the call for players is taking on a more urgent note. We could really do with players who might be able to make it for irregular sessions where new product will be tested. Get in touch if you're interested, or if you have agroup of your own which might be able to help.
